Description: A bounded, falsifiable science film about one big, hopeful idea — and the gentle, stubborn way we test it. Co-built with the SP.Lab open code (Elixir / pure / zero-dep / deterministic).

Every number on screen is recomputed from public sources and cross-checked against the code that drew the visuals (mix sp.lab.validate, 24/24). No claim is called "proven." If a verdict is contradicted, the film says contradicted. That restraint is the whole point.

Three things we tried not to do: • Promise a breakthrough where the evidence didn't give one. • Make any verdict feel cruel. • Pad runtime — this segment is 1 m 40 s of dense, honest narration.

If you stay through the next four acts, you'll see one widely-believed idea survive (narrowly), one widely-believed idea contradicted, and the cleanest way I know to be wrong gracefully — clean up the spill, take a new sample, and look again.
